Tattoos
There are many, many reasons why people decide to get tattoos. Each has their own
individual reason and they fall into a number of different categories. But the specific reason a person
gets a tattoo will often be the same. For example, one person might get a tattoo to show the love for
their country. There are a lots of people who have done this, but the countries differ and the reasons
for that love differ just as the way it is expressed will also differ.
One of the major reasons to get a tattoo is the love of one’s country. Normally demonstrated by flag
drawing or a map or a national symbol - sometimes even a combination of them all. One with Irish blood just
might get a colored map of the Irish flag, with a shamrock in the middle. While an American may get a
Bald Eagle with the Stars and Stripes draped over it. Although the symbols, and how they are
depicted, may be different the sentiment for doing so is the same.
Other reasons, to get tattooed, usually include showing your love for a spouse or a partner. Maybe
even showing the births of your children.
Lots of people even get tattoos to show their allegiance to a particular sport, or for a personal sport
hero. Some just want to reflect their personal interest. For example, a person who loves
driving may get their favorite vehicle insignia tattooed on themselves. Each person has their own special
reason for getting a tattoo. It's just not always self-explanatory from observing the tattoo. If
that is your case just be prepared to spend some time explaining what it is and why you did it.
The bottom line is there are as many reasons for getting a tattoo as their or styles of tattoos available. And
that is really the case in point here - your tattoo reflects YOUR interest and YOUR personal style. Unless it's a
mandatory tattoo, such as showing your gang colors, then that is different - that says you are
branded!

The act of getting a tattoo may very well put you at odds with a lot of your friends and family. You see a lot of people see a correaltion in their minds between tattoos and violence. Although this may be understandable it is generally misguided.
- Tattoo Removal
Some people get tattoos and then for their own reasons come to regret getting them. Be advised that removal costs money. It is surgery that hurts and can take a couple of tries to get the job done. Even then you are still left with a patch of bare, very sensitive skin.
- Tattoo Styles
