When NOT to Get A Tattoo
There are plenty of good times and good reasons to get a tattoo. But there are also many
perfectly good reasons when getting a tattoo should be ruled out of the question. The situations may
vary.
A person’s reason for not getting a tattoo, at a given time, are usually dependant on own personal
feelings, the attitudes of others, and other scenarios that may be affected by a tattoo. Sometimes there are
even certain physical circumstances that make getting a tattoo an extremly bad idea. Physical
circumstances, for the most part, are generally ony temporary reason to delay getting a tattoo.
If for any reason whatsoever you do not feel 100% certain about actually getting a tattoo, or the
design not being exactly what you wanted – then you should NOT let those needles touch your skin,
period.
Remember, that tattoo will be there for the rest of your life. So never, EVER, get a tattoo you
are not 100% happy with.
Also take into account what other people say. I don't mean just random people, but your family and close
personal friends. They may have real legitimate concerns for how the tattoo will impact your life
today AND in the future.
Never, EVER, get a tattoo when you are drunk or stoned. Not just because alcohol is the mother, and father, of
many a bad decision, but also because it causes any wound – even those small ones made by a tattoo needle
– to bleed more profusely. Any medication which thins the blood is also a reason to dealy getting a tattoo.
